A young man sat in a room, with pure white walls and a white floor and cieling. It was clean. It was spotless. Except...
the man sat in the corner, his black hair hanging in front of his pale face. He wore black clothing, and the only white part of him was a white jacket, with sleeves that were died around the back. He laughed. "They say I am insane, but they know nothing. They know... They know... They know nothing. I know all. I have written it on these walls, but they cleaned it off. I warned them, but they destroyed my warning. They said it was nonsense, that they couldn't read it, but I know... I know... I know the truth. I know all." The jeering voice seemed to come from the man, yet it seemed as if his lips didn't move. He stood up, without using his arms, and looked around. "This is my prison, where the lunatics go."

There was a knock on the white door, and a metal pane slid open. The man waited expectantly. "I have your medicine. Are you ready?" a kind-looking nurse asked from behind a widow. The man still stood, saying nothing. "If I speak, you will say I am crazy. You did all the other times. ... Yes yes! You can come in!" he said, sounding agrivated. The nurse closed the metal slide and opened the door, walking into the room. Behind her were two men, all three of them were dressed in white. She nodded to the two men, who both untied the man's jacket and held him in place. He looked on boredly, as if this happened every day. The nurse held her hand above his now exposed arm, and his vein became visible. She placed one finger on it, and he yawned. She removed her finger after a couple seconds, and nodded to the men, who put him back in his jacket. He scowled as he watched them leave the room. As the door shut, he began to laugh. "I did not say my name! To say my name would admit to their heresy! I have succeeded once again! I have tricked the infedel out of my daily dose of sanity! She thinks I will sleep now, but she will see."

The man looked around. "These walls are too... white." as he said this, his jacket slipped off, and he smiled. Even his smile revealed his insanity.

He bit his pointer finger on his right hand and pulled until blood began spurting out. "Quickly now. Musn't waste ink." he placed his finger on the wall and began to write.

There was knock on doors. "Can I come in?" Soft girl's voice asked. "I heard that you are busy sometimes so I don't want to disturb you." She added. Her smile was almsot visible trough doors. It almost sounded that she is mad because who would knock on insane man's doors and ask if she can come in?

The man stopped his writing and looked to the door. "You may come if you wish. But I must warn you. People think I'm crazy."

Girl opened doors and walked in. She wore usual black jeans and blue top. Her hair was short, in light, golden color. Her eyes, that watched him friendly was in dark blue color. She was surrounded by soft glow that could not be unnoticed in this daylight. "Thanks," She said to him with warm smile. "You know, people think that everyone is crazy if they are different." Girl laughed a bit. Her laugh was soft and melodious. "It seems that you have few interesting things to do here." She tilted head as watched writings on walls. (She meets her patients as commoner first. Only then she will appear as nurse(And, yes, she do it secretly))

(ooo... good idea.)
The man looked to her seriously, his eyes hidden behind his black hair. "It's a warning, but you mortals never listen."

"Hmm... Yes, we kinda like to play that we know everything by our selfs and ignore warnings. So, what kind of warning is it?" She asked and moved one of wisps behind her pointed ear. She talked seriously, yet, friendly.

The man still stared at her. "It shows the end of the world." he answered simply, as if this was something normal.
(if you ask him to explain, he'll tell what it really is.)

"Hmmm..." Girl muttered. She put finger to one of already dried lines. "Whta language is it? And what this line means?" She asked and looked back to him.

The man frowned. "It's the old language of the island, before the humans came and changed it." Then he looked to the line she was pointing to. "That word means Hate. It and the rest of the sentence explains how hate will ruin us all. It all starts with the humans you know. Soon the end will come, the end of all we know. It starts with the humans, and their stupid prospect of war."

Something glowed in her eyes as he mentinoed humans. Girl removed hand from writing and frowned. "Humans and their greedy wishes for power..." She whispered. Maybe that sight was hate... yes, probably so. Then she shook head a bit and looked normal again. "You know, I need to go. Sorry." She said as looked in watch. "See you later. And by the way, my name is Lana." She said before turned to doors. "It was nice to meet you." Lana added before walked out and closed doors.

"Pleasure." he said with pursed lips as she left. He looked back to the wall, then examined his fingure. "Drat. It scabbed." He cursed silently as he bit the scab open. He began to draw again, and the wall became covered with words and letters from this ancient language.
One word seemed to stick out among all the others. It seemed obviouc that this word was important. It read, "Herith", and in it was reflected the man himself.

After few hours was another knock. It was his dinner time. Then she walked in. But her clothes had changed. Now she wore one of those white coats as all nurses and doctors in this house. She held tray with his dinner. "Hello there." Lana greated him with bright smile.

The man, now known as Herith, turned to her and frowned. "I suspected as much. Do you always meat your prisoners as a normal being before becoming a warden?" he asked frankly, as if it was a normal question.
