Salamenk raised eyebrow in disbelieve. Katlyn grinned. "Trust me, she knows what she is saying."

Dia smiled. "Come with me." she said, offering Salamnek her hand.

Sal shook her head. "No,I can't touch you. If I come closer to you as few metres, you will turn in ice statues. I have seen that happen." <So, that is the reason why she keeps her distance from us...> Katlyn thought.

Dia frowned. "No. You won't freeze me. I know so."

"No, I won't risk with it. Only someone with incredible heat powers could stand coldness around me. Or mighty defence magic." Salamanek shook her head again.

Dia frowned and took Salamnek's hand, pulling her towards a group of trees. Amazingly she didn't freeze.

Salamenk swallowed hard as felt Dia's touch. As they neared trees, ice covered them and soon they looked like nothing alive. Katlyn followed them, not really sure if she wants to test her luck and go closer to Sal.
(Small explination, please?)

(You'll find out.)
Dia bit her lip slightly as the pain started to course through her arm. She got to the clearing with a small cottage in it and stopped, letting go of Salamnek. She blew on her hand. The frostbite would last for a while.

"You should not do this. No matter how you can do it." Salamenk shook head, looking to grass that shriveled and covered with snow and ice underneath her feet.

Dia looked to her. "What does it matter? You're a friend, and friends never leave each other behind, or left out." Dia looked back to the cottage. "It's relatively new, except no electricity. BUt it has running water, if you ever need it. And I doubt you'll need heat."

Sel gave a strange look to Katlyn and Dia. "You should not trust people so easily. And should not call them your friends too. Many can use it badly." "But you won't. We don't trust bad persons. let's sya I have knack to regnize who is bad and who isn't." Katlyn smiled. It was quite a truth. She rarely was wrong about people.

Dia nodded, smiling happily. "It's true. I almost wrote a story about it."

"Almost?" Katlyn pouted playfully. "You have never wroten story about me and now I lost this last chance too..." Sal bit her lip to not chuckle. "I believe that when the time will come, she will write such story about you that will amaze everyone." She said and Katlyn looked at her a bit unbelieving.

"So." Dia began, turning back towards the house. "How do you like it?"

"I like it." Salamenk answered without hesitation. "But it may take a while for it to return to normal house after I have been there, The coldness can freeze the pipes and they can crack, it could makes glass crack too... And many other things too. I can't go close to mirrors, for example." There was sadness in her voice again as she wathed the ground. Katlyn wacthed her with smile. <She may look like a Ice Princess but she is not like that in her heart when she wants to.> Girl thought.

Dia smiled. "That's ok. Like I said, or should have said, it's been abandoned for years. No one really cares about it anymore." <but I do.> she added in her thoughts.

Sal stopped at doors and watched as walls were covered with ice and snow. "No, I can't do it. I am not used to sleeping in houses anyway." She shook head. Katlyn looked to Dia and then to Salamenk. "But it would be silly for you to stay outside." She said truthfully.

Dua nodded. "Come on. Think of it as your Ice Castle, waiting for your fiery prince." she encouraged, her voice automatically switching to story mode.
