"I don't think you are paid for thinking if I can pay it or not. Just tell me how big her debt is." Sefner coldly answered. He really wished to beat this guy but he tried to be as calm as possible.

Gefiner stubbornly turned away. She couldn't watch this...
The man frowned. "2000 Silver coins. The year's tuition for school." he answered, just as calmly. Genifer crossed her arm,s away from them. She wished that this would be a horrible nightmare, and that she could just wake up.

Sefner kept quiet for a time. "And that is all?" he asked in very casual tone in the end. There was no way that he would show that the sum was indeed, truly big. But, still, he could pay that. But that would cost more than just 'thanl you' from Genifer, she can be sure of that!

Genifer froze. He wasn't bgoing to pay it, was he??? She dreaded the very thought.
The man smiled. "Yes. A poultry sum, I know, yet enough to get the government upset.

"How soon you need it?" Sefner asked and raised eyebrow at the expression of Genifer. At the moment he wanted to do two things - beat up that guy and hug Genifer, just to make that expression go away or slap her in anger. He decided to do none of this. Not at the moment.

The man smiled more. "Now." he answered casually.
Genifer felt like wanting to faint. This was too much. It was going all wrong. She hated this moment, but still she stood firm with clenched fists and bit her lip. <This is going to be a difficult explanation.> she thought gloomily.

"I thought you have more mind in your head. Do you reall think I am walking around streets with such money in pocket in case if some girl is supid enough to get in trouble? If you want the money, you have two choices - stay here and wiat for me or come to my house and wait outside until I get it." Sefner didn't seem to feel strange about setting rules even a bit.

Genifer turned around so that she wasn't facing them anymore. She couldn't stand this.
The man smirked. "I will follow you."

"Good. And if you do, let her go. She will follow us and even if she doesn't, you need her only if you don't get money, right?" Sefner bicket up his skateboard and grinned.

The man frowned. "Yes." he said, letting go of Genifer. She just stood there, unable to believe what was happening.

Now it was Sefner who grabbed Genifer. But it was only for few metres, then he let her go. "No jokes with running away, stay at my side, understood? " he asked in quiet voice. Then he continued to walk as nothing had happened.

Genifer frowned deeply, her eyes filling with a sort of torture, but obeyed. He was her boss, after all.

Sefner bit his lip. <And now I hurt her more... I really should cut my tonge out if I can't say anything except harsh words to her!> He thought in anger. Soon they reached shop and he ordered them to stay outside. Then he rushed inside. The conversation between his mother and him was unknown but not the one that he would want to repeat. Not because she would be angry but because of that surness of her death in her own mind. But after half hour he was our at the doors again. "Here. No need to recount. I don't cheet." Boy gave money to man. "Good bye." <And go to hell.> was his last words(And thoughts) before he pretty unpolitely pulled Genifer inside and shut the doors of shop. He locked doors and leaned against them, making sure she doesn't escape after letting her go. "Now, give me some explination of all this." He commanded, his eyes darker than ever,

Genifer stood, the sadness overwhelming. "My pay wasn't high enough to pay for school..." her voice trailed off as tears came to her eyes. She swallowed and raised her head defiantly. "So I took out a loan, thinking I could pay it back. I was doing pretty well, paying it slowly, but then they got impatient." her voice dropped down to a whisper and she lowered her head again, unable to hold back the tears.

Sefner sighed and went to her, pulling her in comforting hug. "Why you kept quiet? You knew you could find help... If you really dislike me so much that you can't ask my help, there would be someone else..." He sighed again.

Genifer just let him hug her. However much she hated to admit it, she needed a hug right now.
"I don't like having people help me. It makes me feel useless, and a burden. I'd rather struggle through..." her voice trailed off again. She gently leaned her head on his chest, her tears wetting his shirt.

"You can't be burden to anyone. You are to light. You can't be useless either, there is just to much you can do to help other, even if it isn't money... Like simply talking with them. Now you see how you struggling ends..." Sefner sighed. There was pain in his heart. She simply had accepted his words that she dislikes him so much to accept any heklp from him. Maybe she didn't hear him? That didn't seem possible.

Genifer just sobbed silently, until finally she found her voice to speak. "You think so?" her voice sounded hopeful, but mostly disbelieving.

"Absolutely. When I have lied to you?" Sefner said surely.

Genifer placed her hands gently on his chest along with her head. Eventually she stopped crying, but she still didn't get out of his embrace. <I never noticed how safe I felt in his arms...> she thought, and this thought confused her.
