Jukthen clenched his teeth. "You listen well. Your fanmily must be proud." he sneered back. He felt something different about this one, but wasn't yet sure of what it was.

"I was not eavesdropping, if you mean that. I was only oberying what I had been told. After all, I stayed to close to my Master. And I am still doing that as I am close to his son. And if I would, that would be lesson teached by tmy Master, not my parents," Avina told codly. He had no rights to talk about her family.

Jukthen turned away from her to hide his expression. He was disgusted at himself, by acting this way. Then he looked to her over his shoulder. "If you could, how many slaves would you free?" he asked suddenly.

"Half of them. The other half is servants in this castle and they actually do enjoy thier lives. They have home, food, clothes and familes. But others, down in the dungeons... I would free them all. It's terrible there," Avina answered without hesitating. And then she paled. "I.. I.. need to go," she shot around and runt down the corridor, to chaining room. <What if he uses it agaisnt me? They could hit me to death for such thing...> tears filled her eyes.

Avina chatted with other slaves but her mind was elsewhere. Her best friend, blond girl with sky blue eyes, spotted that. "What's wrong?" she asked, pulling Avina away from others. She told. Lovisa kept quiet for a while. "What's his name again?" she asked finally. "Jukthen..." Avina answered. "I have heard about him from older slaves. he is quite nice..." "Oh."

AVina seemed to shrink almsot visibly. She stepped back in shaodws and begged every god and goddess she knew that Master's son did not spot her. She also cursed those bells that always made sound when she made even smallest move. And chains that wasn't very quiet too.

Avian stared at him for second before gathering her usually attitude back. "How can know that? Apple does not fall far away from apple tree and your father lies wherever he finds a chance," her voice was colder, colder than usually.

Jukthen looked to her. "I stand here, looking into your eyes, and tell you that I will not hurt you. Now, tell me I am lying." he challenged.

Avina gazed at him for quite some time. Her silver eyes seemed to dig into his soul, slowly exploring him. It didn't hurt only gave strange shivers run down his spine. "You are strange... I can't read you..." girl whisperd more to her self as to him. "No, you are not lying," she finally answered louder.

Jukthen held back a shiver under her gaze. "Read me? Am I an open book?" he joked, holding his arms like the cover of an open book.

"The fact I can't understand you, does not mean you are better. You simply have chances to hide all your bad plans and thoughts. This doesn't make me trust you more.," Avina told coolly. Maybe a bit more cool as she actually wanted. But life in this house had teached her to be a bit suspicous to everyone who isn't your friend. And son of her Master could not become her friend in first evening, could he?
