Jukthen faked a frown. "Thus is the difficulty of being important." he said, still as playful. Then he looked into her eyes and asked suddenly, "Do you know how to play the game?"

"What game?" Avina almost jumped from his sudden change of conversation. <I am getting nervous.... How unusual...>

Jukthen shrugged. "Everyone plays it, some without even knowing. I say a line, then you reply, and I say something else. Eventually, one of us will fall for the other, and the rest is history." he explained simply, not hesitating on a single word.

"Well, it sounds like a conversation to me..." Avina frowned lightly. She hoped that the falling part was meant simply loosing not the usual meaning but she said nothing. In any way, she liked new games so she felt curious.

Jukthen smiled. "Ah, but it is so much more. You see, one person will try to charm the other, in hopes that he or she will fall for the first one. If it works, then the game is finished, and the winners share happy thoughts together." he smiled again. His voice had sounded strange, like that of those "gentleman" in the other room, except... kinder.

Avina blushed very lightly, glad that shadows hid that. She shook her head fiercly, tinkles of bells filling the air softly. "I am not going to try charm you. Or anyone else. I don't care that everyone plays it, I am not everyone anyway," her tone had growed quite cold again. <I am in deeper trouble than I thought. I have gotten another Master on my heels. Only... More charming and handsome one. No, no! I didn't thought that jsut a second ago! Thay all are the same jerks! My only firneds and persons I can trust to is other slaves,> girl thought and almsot sighed. But only almost. Well, at least she will have another story to tell when she gets back. Another thing what will save her friends from misery for a moment.

Jukthen stood straight again. "You don't have to be the one doing the charming. In fact, we were playing the game only a few moments ago. Don't you remember?"

"In any case, game is played by two but I am not joining," Avina announced and turned around. She had urge to slap Jukthen and that happened rarely. This was such a obvious flirting that she simply felt ashamed in his place. Alright, it was tiny bit flattering, but noyl tiny bit. <What he said moment ago? Maybe that note about books? Well, if there is one person who I don't understand even in any way, with powers or not, it's him,> girl thought.

(books?)
Jukthen shrugged carelessly, although something flashed in his eyes. It wasn't anger, and it wasn't that disgusting look... "No one's stopping you."

(Peple like books.) (I think I am getting hard to understand tonight. *sighs*)
Avina turned back to him and gazed at him thoughtfully. It was like he would give her free will. Something that she had but was forbidden to have. <Strange... But sweet...>

(*hugs*)
Jukthen did nothing, as if waiting for her next move. <Will she play?> he thought privately.

(*hugs back* Thank you for the support!)
Avina tilted her head lightly, bells ranging again but she ignored it. Then she gave him a tiny small but this time real, not like those in the meeting room. "Well..." she seemed to think over each word carefully. "You are first one who had said that to me in last years... So maybe apple falls furhter away from apple tree than I thought." Actually, girl was not thinking of this as a game at the moment. She was just open like she usually was. For that small thought 'maybe he isn't as bad as you make him to be' was quite restless, nagging her all the time.

Jukthen bowed. "I am honored that you think so." he said, looking back at her and standing straight (well, kinda) once more. "Mayhaps one might learn from the maiden."

Avina looked to him quite amused for a moment but then she grapsed how late it was. "My lord, sadly but I need to go now. But next time we will meet, I hope to hear why you wished to play that game with me," girl curtsied a little but something in her behavior showed it wasn't for the need to be polite servant but jsut for game. Alright, not the game they had talked about, of course. With small smile she turned around and rushed back at her secret entrance in castle. She would disapear without a sound if not the small bells with their melody giving away her movements.

Jukthen watched her, and only once she dissapeared from sight did he turn and walk away.

Avina layed back on her bed and closed eyes. "New story has found way to me..." she muttered sleepily, yet, happily as let her self think about last events.

Jukthen was next seen in his room, an open book in his hands as he sat cross-legged on the bed. Weak reading glasses rested on his nose, and it looked as if he didn't use them anyway.

Next morning Avina woke up as cheerful and joyful as usually. After quick breakfast(Again she thanked her luck that she had something to eat not like slaves underground), she went to kitchen to pick up those small food packages what cook amde for her to bring down in dungeons. She couldn't do a lot to help ehr friends but still it was btter as nothing.

(Who said that first sentence....?)
Avina obvisouly ignored Jukthen all the time. It didn't matter that some of maids giggled and whisperd , pointing at both of them obviosuly thinking something very strange, she still ignored him and had left kitchen as soon as she could.
