A light shone in the distant sky as a morning star seemed to fall. The sun shone brightly, helpin to make this star shine.

It was only a morning but loud noises, shouts, the sounds of live was filling the yard of Fortress already. The Fortress always so full of life and awake, aware of danger and teaching young Knights to fight the Darkness as well as the skilled knights planning and studying even further. High above the rush of the Fortress, on the rooftop of the highest tower sat a boy. By his medieval, simply clothing he could be mistooked as one of the apprentices if not the black wings, spreaded widely. In his hand he held a staff carved masterly. His feet was bare as he would not be used to walk the ground much. Wind played in his light brown hair, making it look even messy. There was small smile playing in corners of his mouth and his relaxed form showed that he was used to sitting here. Young man's greenish brown eyes were fixed on the falling star. The curisoity had filled his sight. When he stood up, each his movment showed that this man isn't weakling. But why he should be? Around the age twenty, he was ready to smash any obstacles in his way. All life and it's strenghts was in his strong hands. And he was determined to use it well. "It is noly a star... I cannot reach a falling star." He whispered to him self. "But I have to watch my borders as well. Nothing will happen if I take a closer look." He told to him self and spreaded balck, powerful wings covered with soft black feathers even wider. Then he took off, dericting stright to he falling light of the skies, wind seeming to whisper him a words understandeable only to him.

The star slowly became brighter as he came near, until it was not a star at all.
It was a woman, with large pure white wings that folded close to her. Her eyes were closed in a peaceful slumber as she fell/floated down to the Earth.
(Her wings are actually bigger than the ones in the picture.

Young man looked to the girl with smile and flew stright to her. She may float peacefully but who knows how long the spell will hold. He stopped in the air next to her and gently pulled the creature in his arms. Soon they have landed. Boy knelt down, gazing in her face, smile softening. He still did not lett her go. "What a surprise... Is she another one of our lines? Or really a gift from heaven?" He asked in whisper.

The bright glow seemed to fade as he held her, and her weight was revealed. Although she looked to be atleast 100 pounds, she seemed as light as a feather. Her face was beautiful and kind, with no marks of any sort anywhere on her. She seemed perfect.

"And what I will do with you now, Mysterious Angel? I can't drag you to the Human Fortress, can I?" He questioned, not really waiting answer. Actually, boy would not mind to fly together with her like this. But that was not the point.

The angel lay peacefully in his arms, before her eyes began to flutter.

Boy pulled back slightly, letting his arms around her loosen a bit. He didn't really know why but light blush covered his cheeks. <That's because I am not used to have girl so close to me.> Man thought but it didn't make him feel much better. He hoped she will not be angry on him... No, she did not look like a person who could be angry. Ever.

She opened her eyes, her wings still wrapped around her, not revealing her clothes. She looked to him, her eyes kind, and smiled.
The world seemed happier.

Boy smiled back, his eyes sparkling with joy. "Hello." He said, feeling that keeping quiet will do no good.

She opened her mouth and spoke, but the words were not ones that he could recognise.

He gently made her set up, still gazing at her. There was surprise wroten in his face. Then he tried all languages he knew, including Elven, English(Actually the mix of many Earth languages), the Island's Common, Dwarven, Gnome, Angel, Forest Folk language and few others(They are highly intelligent. But he isn't perfect at all of them, of course). And at last the language that he had no rights to know. The Godess language.

She blinked her beautiful blue eyes a few times. Then she put her fingers very gently to his lips to quiet him before he could finish speaking all the different languages. "My name is Fiona." she said in the Island's common, but her accent was thick.

Man blushed lightly as she did this. "It is pleasure to meet you, My Lady. My name is Udran." He did not add the official word and title as it would not inform her much.

The angel, named Fiona, removed her fingers to let him speak and smiled. "Pleasure to meet you Urdan." although her accent was thick, it was obvious she was fluent in this language.

Udran bowed his head a little. He was amzed by her, though he did not know why. Boy pulled away a bit and got up, offering hand to her. Many questions was in his mind. But there was few truly important. "My lady, what is your plans for now? Surely, you are not thinking of staying here." he said as shot glance around the beach.
